Mentoring Match Process

The Next Step Mentoring Program enables students to request a prospective mentor from the mentor applicant pool by shortlisting up to five mentor profiles to review. The shortlist is created on the fit between both the mentor and student mentee responses on the application form regarding your primary and secondary disciplines of study/ career interest areas. Once a student has requested a mentor, the prospective mentor will receive a notification to preview the student profile including their goals for the program. Upon receiving this request to be matched with a student mentee, the mentor can accept or decline the match request.

If you have any questions or require more information, please contact the Next Step Mentoring Coordinator, by emailing nextstep@curtin.edu.au or phone (08) 9266 1910.
