Careers for Tomorrow
Our interactive web presence Careers for Tomorrow is an innovative platform that allows employers to engage and network directly with Curtin’s students and alumni. Designed in response to both student and employer feedback, it enables students to meet employers, discover opportunities, and gain expert insights into a range of industries.
It is a constantly evolving site complemented by number of themed campaigns that run throughout the year (e.g. careers fairs, industry spotlights etc) that ensures all Curtin University students, regardless of their mode of study (on a domestic campus, overseas or virtual) can connect with industry.
Your interactive profile
Student and graduate recruiters that engage with the department on a regular basis (e.g. attend our careers fairs) may be eligible for an ‘Employer Profile’ on the site which is yours to use as you wish.
We encourage you to take ownership of your page by working with our team at Curtin Careers, Employment & Leadership to maximise your presence and its impact on your prospective candidates.
As well as having the opportunity to personalise the profile with your organisation’s latest promotional images, videos and web/social media links, there is also an in-built discussion board (powered by DISQUS) in which you can chat directly with job seekers. Also any jobs and events you upload onto Curtin UniHub will be automatically fed through to your profile.
Organisations that have regularly engaged with their page, worked with us to update its content, ensured their latest vacancies are advertised on UniHub, and formally introduced themselves via the discussion boards have found it an invaluable way to raise their profile on campus.
We welcome articles or videos you would like to contribute to Careers For Tomorrow, and are happy to work with you to create content.
Any contribution made should be educational (relating to Careers, Employment & Leadership) and relevant for our students and, unless paid for, we won't accept advertorial content. However, we will credit the article to your company with the byline, a reference to who contributed the content and a link to your profile and/or job advertisement on UniHub.
